Get ready for a fast paced summer adventure closer to home with The Scenic Route, a short format race around the UK and Ireland.
As a new feature, and meaning less travel for those of you up north, you can choose to start the race in either London or Edinburgh. We are aiming for up to 200 participants split across the two start locations, bringing the same big race energy with a little more flexibility.
You will have one checkpoint in each of Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland, and you can visit them in any order. The English and Scottish checkpoints will not be in the start or finish cities, so everyone will need to get moving from the very beginning.
If you are feeling strategic you can book some ferry crossings ahead of time, or if you are feeling bold, leave it to chance. The checkpoints will all be kept between 53 and 56.5 degrees of latitude to help with your research, London starters might consider a pre-booked train to get them up north. There will be separate winners and awards for Edinburgh/London starters.
The race will finish in Manchester, bringing everyone back together for the final push to the line.
This event runs from Thursday to Saturday, and the awards for this race will also serve as the Lupine Racing Summer Party. Expect a proper post race celebration where stories are shared and familiar faces come together.
Your entry fee includes the party, and you are welcome to purchase guest passes during checkout if you would like to bring friends or family along. All category winners will be celebrated as part of the evening.
