An app-powered team challenge across the capital. Teams pick their own route, hunt down checkpoints and compete for points, so no two team days are the same.
We also run events in Berlin, Paris, Manchester and New York. Want one closer to home? Get in touch for a quote.

Lupine Racing runs point-to-point challenges where teams choose their own route between checkpoints, with an app handling tracking, evidence and live leaderboards. Alongside public races across Europe and fundraising events for charities, Metro Mayhem condenses the format into a five-hour city challenge built for corporate team days.
A fast-paced team challenge that brings colleagues together through strategy, problem-solving and friendly competition.
Teams race between checkpoints against the clock, choosing their own route and scoring points as they go. With no single correct route, every team plays it differently, and the day sticks in the memory.
Our staff are there at the start to brief teams and build the buzz, and back at the finish to welcome everyone home and wrap up the day. And because every event draws a new set of checkpoints, it works just as well the second, third or tenth time with the same team.
A short clip from one of our public events: the pace, the app and the race-day energy.
“The Metro Mayhem was an outstanding team-building experience, with colleagues still talking about the day. It provided a valuable opportunity for staff to collaborate away from the workplace and build meaningful relationships they may not interact with regularly. I would highly recommend Mayhem Metro to other organisations and would not hesitate to book again in the future”
Five participants sent detailed written feedback after the day. 100% were positive about their first reaction to the event, and 100% said the random pairings worked well. On whether the day met its team-building aims, how well it was organised and how the app performed, it was 100% positive from everyone who commented. And 4 out of 5 said outright that they would recommend Metro Mayhem to another organisation.
The random pairings were a highlight, giving colleagues real time with people they rarely work alongside.
“The random pairings worked really well and were one of the highlights of the day. They encouraged people to step outside their usual work groups and spend time with colleagues they wouldn't normally interact with. It was great to see people quickly build rapport, work together on the challenges and have fun along the way”
“I was paired with one of my team but as I'm new to the charity and we are both remote workers it was nice to spend some time with her as we don't see each other very often.”
Every team came back with a different story, giving everyone plenty to talk about at the finish and back at work. Many also found parts of London they had never seen.
“I think the whole day was really memorable, the photos and snapshots shared showed that everyone was having a great time and it was fun to hear everyone talking and laughing about their days and different experiences when we met at the end of the day.”
“I was thrilled to get a pic of me by the Admirals House (big Mary Poppins Fan), It was good to learn a little history with some of the checkpoints and the mosaic art project, I thought I knew London quite well, but I have never been to Stratford Station/shopping centre so that was cool”
As much as your team wants it to be. Relaxed teams can stick to nearby checkpoints and use public transport; competitive teams can move faster and range further for extra points. Most teams cover around 8,000–10,000 steps over five hours. Want less walking? We can make the event more compact, with checkpoints closer together.
“I do think it was accessible for all our team and a range of personalities.. I think you would just change your strategy depending on fitness levels and you could still get a lot out of the day.”
“Definitely. I think Metro Mayhem is accessible for a wide range of personalities, however if you're competitive, though, there's definitely a physical element - you naturally find yourself moving quickly between locations to maximise your score. That said, success isn't just about being the fastest; teamwork, communication and problem-solving are just as important, making it an enjoyable experience for everyone regardless of fitness level.”
Teams check in, track their score and follow the live leaderboard in the Lupine Racing app.
“Loved the app and the tracking ability and to be able to see everyone's points. It was great to see at one point everyone across the map in different locations. Tech worked really well.”
“The app was great, especially being able to see all of the other teams, it was interesting to see how everyone went about the same task completely differently and the leaderboard always changing made it more competitive!”
“Absolutely. It brought people together, encouraged collaboration, and got everyone thinking and communicating in different ways. It struck a good balance between competition and fun and people left the event talking positively about the experience.”
“I'd happily recommend it. Having experienced both Metro Mayhem and Race Across the UK, I think Lupine Racing does an excellent job of creating engaging, well-organised events that genuinely bring people together. Metro Mayhem is a fun, inclusive, and memorable team-building experience that encourages collaboration, gets people out of their comfort zones and leaves teams with shared experiences they'll continue talking about long after the event.”
“It's great fun and competitive in a good way. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some action-packed fun. I've already recommended to a couple of friends for team building activities both in the charity sector and out of it. Brill day!”
